Driving under the influence (DUI) of any alcohol or drugs is a very dangerous idea. As a matter of fact, it decreases your reaction time and senses and could lead to a deadly vehicular accident. Also, you can face serious social and financial consequences if caught by the authorities. Since this may seem very obvious, drivers usually do this habit of driving on the road while under the influence of any substance which causes you to become drowsy. You might even take cough medicines which impair driving ability. Stay vigilant. Stay sober and most of all stay safe.

One common driving bad habit is too much-giving attention to the car settings and less on the highway. Whether it can be adjusting of heat/air conditioning or changing radio stations, messing around with your car settings is actually a distraction and must always be avoided with no excuse.

Do you know that driving when you are tired is also one of the reasons for vehicular accidents? These statistics show that every yawn on your way to your workplace could potentially put you in great danger. While it is very risky to drive even with less amount of fatigue, therefore, it is very unacceptable to drive when your body is extremely tired. The moment you find yourself pressing your cheeks or nose in order to stay awake, you need to pull over at the closest gas station and buy some caffeine-containing drinks. You may also plan your sleeping pattern to allow yourself enough rest and get ready for your next trip.

The hazards of road rage are full of irony. If you feel the heat of your emotions raging, try to take some few deep breaths and just focus on your driving instead of anyone else’s.
